7th Heaven Face Masks

I do love a face mask!

It can be peel off, mud, gel or cream I like all face masks. That is why I love 7th Heaven.

They are the UK’s leading brand in natural and cruelty face masks. You will have seen the brand around in your local supermarket, Superdrug, Boots and more.

They do not just offer face masks but also hair masks and nail masques for at home manicures and pedicures as part of their Spa range.

I trialled the Charcoal mask. This one was advertised as being exfoliating and detoxing for the skin. Charcoal is all the rage at the moment with products for teeth whitening and staining. The charcoal in this mask is used to absorb oil and impurities.

As well as charcoal the mask contains walnut shell and black lava making it a mud like constancy. The charcoal removes the oil and the walnut shells act as an exfoliator.

The face mask is made by Montagne Jeunesse, and is one of the many masks that offer treatment for combination skin. My main problem areas are my oily nose and chin and dry cheeks. This combination makes a lot of masks difficult as they can over dry cause more oil production.

The charcoal mask seems to be my saviour! It comes in a 15g pack like all the masks Montagne Jeunesse make for the face, this one also comes in a tube. It is easy to apply and quick to dry, I left mine for 20 minutes and it washed off easily and I instantly had better feeling skin.

The biggest difference was that my skin felt smoother, less rough and less oily. My t zone was as clean as a whistle! I was amazed. It didn’t dry the skin or make it sore like some face packs can. Mud can be harsh on the skin and very drying but this mask was spot on! (no pun intended).

My skin also felt brighter and more glowing than usual. It was clear enough and fresh enough that I really didn’t want to wear make-up at all and spoil it.
