Skinporter Multi-Action Peptide Facial Express (Travel Size)

I’d been looking for something a little more “spa-at-home” that I could use when I didn’t have time for a full treatment. Between work, a toddler and being 8 months pregnant and renovating our house I don’t have time for treatments.

The travel size of this “3-in-1” facial (cleanser/exfoliator/serum) appealed because it seemed fuss-free and high-quality. According to the product info, it’s designed to extract impurities, resurface texture and boost hydration + radiance in under 30 minutes.

Also, the fact it comes with a little brush for application, and that you can use it beyond just your face (neck + hands) made it more versatile for me.

The kit comes in a handy box, like a mini sewing kit you get on holiday. I cleansed my face and hands, opened the ampoule and poured it into the gel solution, shook/stirred with the brush (as instructed). I applied the mixture to my face, neck and backs of my hands (since I had pigmentation and uneven texture there). I left it on for about the full recommended time (approx 20-30 minutes) and then rinsed.

I had enough to do my face, neck and hands and still some extra so it could make a nice treat if you wanted to do a spa treatment with a friend and share.

First off I noticed the smoothness and texture improvement. After one use I noticed that my skin (especially on the neck/hands) felt smoother. The rough patches on the back of my hands felt more refined, and my face had a more even surface.

While I wouldn’t claim full eradication of the pigmentation spots, I did see a visible difference: the spots looked a little softer / less stark, especially on my hands and neck, and my face looked a little brighter overall.

I appreciated that the process was straightforward and didn’t require multiple products  the “all-in-one” format meant less time, less layering confusion, and a cleaner feeling. Also it’s a gel so it applies much easier and smoother with no dripping or that horrid wet feeling on your face.

Being able to use it on neck + hands made it more worthwhile. Often treatments focus only on the face, but I had concerns with my neck/hands so that was a plus.

As a travel/one-dose format, if you like the product and want to use regularly (say once a week) it may add up cost-wise compared to products you can reuse many times. I felt like it was value for money and also a great way to have a little treat that really feels like spa standard for a fraction of the price. I would be tempted to buy a few of these and have them as gifts or take with me when I have a girl’s weekend.

It is worth noting that after the treatment you should apply your moisturiser. After using a layered active treatment like this you still need to maintain good aftercare (moisturiser, SPF, gentle skin regime) to preserve the benefits and protect newly revealed/surfaced skin.

I’d say this treatment is very good for someone who wants a relatively quick, high-quality “facial” at home, especially if you are looking to smooth texture, refine tone, and treat areas beyond just the face (neck/hands). For my own skin, it made a noticeable difference: my skin felt smoother, looked a little brighter, and my hands/neck felt more treated and it felt like a little self-care moment. Very much needed right now.
