Premium Liquid Meno Support from Kollo Health

Guest Review: The Treatment Tester has a small group of guest writers who review items that we think would be of interest to our readers. This includes products and treatments for males, a younger or older audience and for procedures or treatments for specific conditions. In this case the review is for a perimenopausal, and menopausal range and my guest reviewer is 47 years of age and in the early stages of peri-menopause.

I’ve been in that in-between stage lately: still having periods, but noticing shifts. My cycles have become irregular, I’m waking up in the night with a flush, my concentration is wobbling and I’m feeling more anxious than usual. At 47 I’ve always taken decent care of myself, but this change in hormones felt different: more unpredictable, more “out of my control”, and I wanted something that felt like support rather than just “end-ure it until it passes”.

When I first read about the Meno Support liquid sachets, I was intrigued. The idea of a daily drinkable dose rather than a big pill appealed because it felt gentle and modern. The ingredient list is impressive: things I recognise like magnesium, vitamin B6 and B9, vitamin D3, but also some less familiar extracts like lion’s mane, ashwagandha (in their KSM-66® form), red clover, sage leaf, dandelion root, chamomile and Siberian ginseng. The brand says it’s “for support during all stages of menopause” and claims to help with skin hydration, joint pain, hot flushes, mood swings, mental clarity and overall wellbeing. The fact it’s vegan-friendly, free from gluten, dairy and nuts also helped me feel safer giving it a try. This was the first time I have tried a supplement like this and for peri-menopause.

I started taking one sachet each day, either straight from the sachet or mixed with about 170ml of water or juice, as the instructions advise. In the first week, I was very alert to any shifts: did I feel calmer? Was I sleeping better? Did I still get flushes? Did my mood wobble less? What I noticed is that by the end of week one and into week two I felt slightly more anchored. The lion’s mane extract felt like it was helping with my brain-fog.

The hot flushes haven’t gone away entirely (I don’t think any supplement would miraculously stop them) but I’ve noticed them less intense and fewer. My mood has felt slightly steadier: instead of a sudden dip after lunch where I’d feel fatigued and low, I now tend to keep going.

My skin still feels slightly dry in the mornings (I’m only a few weeks in) and my joints are still creaky when I get up after sitting for a while. But I do sense a subtle improvement: less stiffness and the skin feels a little less congested/‘tight’ than it did before I started. I think couple this with some prescription skincare and some joint supplements might be the magic blend.

Of course there are caveats. Because I’m in early menopause / perimenopause I am realistic about expecting big changes and I made sure to check with my doctor before starting, especially as some of the extracts (like red clover) are phyto-oestrogens and may interact with other treatments. The brand itself advises consulting your GP if you are on HRT.

Also: the cost is not insignificant and it’s something I will need to commit to for several weeks to judge properly; I’m aware that some of the benefits might take 4-6 weeks or more to become firm. The brand even mentions that “individual experiences may vary… but many women typically start feeling the benefits … within a few weeks”.

For me, trying this supplement has been a good decision. It feels like one more supportive tool in my perimenopausal toolkit alongside good sleep hygiene, gentle exercise, healthy nutrition and stress-management rather than a silver bullet. I would recommend it to any woman in early menopause who wants to feel more supported, more in control, and less at the mercy of hormone swings.
