Naturelle Cosmetics Royal Coffee Scrub

Naturelle Cosmetics is a UK based, family business selling natural and organic beauty products one of which is Royal Coffee Scrub Coconut. This divine smelling scrub is made from 100% natural products.

A lot of body scrubs contains artificial ingredients that can be absorbed into the skin. It is estimated that the body absorbs 60-80% of the product is has contact with. With Naturelle products these are totally organic and natural and therefore not harmful to your skin or body.

The body scrub contains coffee seeds, avocado oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil and almond seed. Combined these have a brilliant effects on the skin and plenty of benefits.

Coffee is a popular ingredient in body scrubs. It is said that it can help reduce cellulite. It stimulates blood flow and promotes circulation. This in turn helps with dimpling of the skin and stored fat. It also exfoliates the skin and removes dead skin cells.

The type of coffee (two types are in this product) also contains naturally occurring antioxidants that fight free radicals, reduce redness and inflammation.

The Avocado oil enhances the skins ability to generate collagen and results in smoother skin. Its moisturising qualities assist with dryness or itchy skin. Often this type of oil is used for treatment of psoriasis and eczema.

Lastly the coconut, no just smells amazing but it contains a high level of anti-fungal, anti-bacteria and anti-oxidants elements to boost the immune system of the body and helps fight off free radicals.

Coconut oil contains a high level of vitamin E- Assisting the skin repair (scars, burns, etc.) and reduces stretch marks.

I have used coffee before on the backs of my legs for cellulite reduction. The one thing I didn’t like is that the coffee I had previously used was granules and very messy. This was different. Firstly the smell was more coconut tan coffee, secondly it is a fine grain like consistency that is a good scrub but not gritty. It feels like the soft sand on a Caribbean beach. And third, it contains an oil that makes the scrub denser and easier to apply and leaves the skin feeling softer and conditioned.

A little goes a long way. I find it best to wet the skin, then standing away from the shower spray apply the product to the skin with your hand. Scrub all over then rinse. Surprisingly it is not messy and is easy to apply. The bag is reseal able and waterproof which helps.

Overall I love this product. I often have dry skin on the backs or sides of my legs. Mainly at the top where I forget to moisturise caused from sitting down all day. This products works well as an in shower moisturiser without feeling oily or tacky.
